Near the end of installation, when it's attempting to start the database, it gives me the following error: Problem running post-install step. I attempted to install it, opening it by right-clicking and choosing "Run as administrator." I chose to install it on "C:" and "C:/data." I chose "C" for the Locale. I downloaded postgresql.9.2.2-1-windows-圆4 from the official PostgreSQL website. I've since deleted the windows.old file had the data from my Windows 8 Consumer Preview. I updated Windows 8 from the Windows 8 Consumer Preview where I had successfully run Poker Tracker 3 on the Lock Poker client. I don't see any old files floating around, but I'm inexperienced with Windows so I can't say for sure. I've installed and uninstalled different versions of PostgreSQL to no avail. My only Firewall was the one that came installed with Windows.
The specifications for the software are as follows: I'm having issue installing PostgreSQL on Windows 8, which I'm running on Parallels via OS X.
